Cookies
We only use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the website and cake ordering to work, none for statistics or marketing. Last updated 21 October 2026.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage in the browser, work in the same way. Cookies needed for a service you've asked for may be used without consent, under the Swedish Electronic Communications Act.
What we use
- cafe_crema_cart and cafe_crema_cart_secret (local storage): remembers your cart, so that it's still there when you come back. Kept until the cart is emptied or you clear your browser's data.
- cafe_crema_pickup (session storage): remembers the café, day and requests you've chosen for your order. Disappears when you close the tab.
- __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid (Stripe): only set at checkout, to complete the payment securely and prevent fraud. Kept for one year and 30 minutes respectively.
- payload-token: only set when our staff log in to edit the website.
Maps
The maps on the cafés' pages come from Google Maps. They only load when you click Show map, and Google may then save its own cookies according to Google's privacy policy.
How to manage cookies
You can delete and block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block them, the website won't remember your cart and you won't be able to pay.
We describe how we otherwise handle personal data in our privacy policy. Questions? Email us at info@cafecrema.se.
